Visit Redwoods National Park
Wow...I don't think words OR pictures can give any reader an idea of just how majestic this place is. We chose to go to Stoutgrove, a place in Redwoods closer to the Oregon border. After seeing photos in National Geographic and art galleries all over the world, I was expecting to be stunned by beauty. I wasn't disappointed!
These trees tower over the land like skinny giants. If I have ever wanted to hear a tree speak, it was now...these trees are so OLD. I am sure they would have so many stories to tell!!!
We enjoyed a picnic lunch in their shadow, and as an added bonus, I randomly found a 4-leaf clover among the thousands and thousands of 3-leaf clovers that lined the trail!
This place and Sequoia National Park are definitely two of my favorite places in America.
