Sleep in a Castle Overnight
When I placed this one on my list I didn't really understand what a castle even is. Here's the definition: A castle is a type of fortified structure built during the Middle Ages predominantly by the nobility or royalty and by military orders. Scholars debate the scope of the word castle, but usually consider it to be the private fortified residence of a lord or noble. According to Medievalists.net : Izzalini was fortified during the Middle Ages by Ezzelino III Da Romano (1194 – 1259) a feudal lord in Treviso, who ruled Verona, Vicenza and Padua for almost two decades.
